Capital Area Team Sports, Inc. ("CATS") is a non-profit organization based in Raleigh, North Carolina.  It's purpose is simple:  to establish and provide people in the Raleigh area with year-round opportunities to participate in amateur team sports competition.

The organization was incorporated on October 1, 2005 but its roots go back a decade earlier, when the Carolina Colts men's softball team was organized by Glenn Bronstein and D.P. McIntire.  The Colts survive today, and have been joined by an additional men's softball team, a men's basketball club, and quite literally a league of our own - the Independent Flag Football League, a 5-on-5 contact league that plays each spring and fall.

The total number of participants in CATS programs currently exceeds 200 (it's actually probably closer to 300 but we haven't done an audit in a while), but we always have room for one more.  If you'd be interested in learning more about CATS and its various amateur team sports programs, click here to contact us!
