The Palmer Cup will be emblematic of the most consistent, excellent level of play on the CATS Golf Tour, being presented each year to the player who accrues the greatest number of average points per hole - points which are awarded for each par, birdie and/or eagle scored.

5 points are awarded for an eagle, 3 points for a birdie, and a single point for each par hole recorded.  The total number of points accrued is then divided by the total number of holes played on the CATS Golf Tour to determine the Palmer Cup champion.

To be eligible for the Palmer Cup, a player must participate in a minimum of one hundred (100) holes during the course of the year's CGT.
