THE MISSION OF CAPITAL AREA TEAM SPORTS, INC. shall be to foster amateur sports competition at the local, regional, state, national and international levels through organization of programs, leagues, clubs and events on a continuing basis; generating and maintaining interest therein; to expand into new, dynamic areas of amateur sports; generating and maintaining interest therein; to expand into new, dynamic areas of amateur sports; to generate financial returns sufficient for sustaining our operations and carrying out our mission and objectives; and to operate in the most efficient, professional manner possible, maintaining the highest integrity in all matters.
In pursuit of the mission of Capital Area Team Sports, Inc., the corporation is organized for the purpose of establishing and maintaining adult and youth amateur sports leagues, providing participants with opportunities to maintain good health and conditioning, teamwork skills and sportsmanship; to encourage and promote our activities as conducive to physical fitness, and as sports which are a source of wholesome entertainment for the public; to establish and maintain policies and procedures that help promote the general welfare and safety of our members; and the promotion and achievement of efficiency and harmony in the control and supervision of amateur sports, be it locally, regionally, nationally or globally.
